Will She Kill Again?

I wrote this as a follow-up to the first Dirk Morecombe story, a novella - Who Killed Melvin Spark.

Marta Zelic ended up being the key character in this novel, opposed by Dirk Morecombe as he strove to bring a killer to justice. Her story becomes the motivation for the actions that follow and, when her dearest friend and mentor is murdered, she is compelled to avenge the callous act.

Marta and Dirk are drawn closer even as he closes in on her as the guilty party. He deplores his weakness as he succumbs to her sexuality. As other suspects are dealt with, the events lead to a tense physical showdown between the two main characters.
